Who Knew Vampire Cowboys Could be So Interesting?

I purchased this bundle when I first got my Kindle thinking it sounded interesting and the price was reasonable for the number of books. I am a paranormal romance fan, and had never read anything Harlequin or by Kimberly Raye before. I am so glad I got this bundle. These stories are addictively good. Definitely a guilty pleasure. The vampires in these stories feed on sexual energy as well as blood, so expect quite a bit of heat but nothing too extreme. While these are light reads, the characters that Ms. Raye creates pull you into their stories and keep you there waiting with baited breath to see if they get their happy ending. The plotlines are interesting and have enough twists to keep you reading as well. Since they are romance stories you know the happily ever after is coming, but you still get anxious at times to make sure it does come. There is quite a bit of humor in these stories too.
While some of the stories are better than others as is often the case with bundles, everyone will have a different favorite (mine was Dead Sexy). I find that favorites in these depend on which character you like the most. Still, they are all entertaining and easy, perfect escapism when you want to stay away from the serious, heavy, dramatic reading. Don't expect these to be JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood or Christine Feehan's Carpathians, or any other of the more serious paranormal romance series. Don't pick these up expecting Bram Stoker's Dracula either. This is Harlequin Blaze, and they are known for light and sexy reads. I give the bundle a 5 star rating because I think that Love at First Bite is a very good series in the light paranormal romance category and at a good price. If you like Harlequin romance, give this a try. If you are looking for a beach read or something to read between heavier reads, you may want to take a look at these as well.
The bottom line: Kimberly Raye managed to make vampire cowboys who are not too cheesy. They are actually pretty hot and they steal your heart.

FANTASTIC!!

I was never "into" vampires, unless you count Barnabas Collins in Dark Shadows, way back when, but these guys are so friggin hot! Jake, Dillon & oh so sexy Garrett had me wishing they'd come bite me! Even Matt Keller, the Sheriff is hot. Loved these stories and have read them twice now. No doubt there will be a third time. Kimberly Raye is a fantastic writer!
